Making a GIF in Illustrator
Here is a quick and easy guide on how to create your own GIF in Illustrator.
Step 1: Select your objects
Start by selecting all the objects that you want to include in your GIF. To select multiple objects, press and hold the Shift key and click on each object.
Step 2: Create a new animation
Click on Window > Timeline to create a new animation. A Timeline panel will appear at the bottom of your screen.
Step 3: Create a new frame
To create a new frame, click on the Create New Frame icon in the Timeline panel.
Step 4: Move the objects in each frame
For each frame, move the objects around to create the desired animation.
Step 5: Export the GIF
Once you're finished creating your animation, click on File > Export > Save for Web. In the Save for Web dialog box, select GIF as the format.
That's it! You've now created a GIF in Illustrator.
